Mustang's Cheerleading Program for 2025 is going to be spirited! Currently forming TWO teams: Reserve (5th & 6th grade) & Varsity (7th, & 8th grade) for our winter basketball 2026/2025 program.
Don't miss the opportunity to join in on the fun, just ask any of the current cheerleaders who are enjoying the experience.
No experience is required, but please come with a great attitude! Cheer is all the energy with the right amount of commitment (okay to be your second sport).
- The Mustang Cheer program seeks to teach its cheerleaders self-confidence, the importance of teamwork, and skills to cheer in a Catholic faith-based setting.
- Practices: "Gym" at St. Michael
- Tuesday's from 6:00p - 7:30p (to begin 11/12) with a possibility of a Wednesday practice depending on BB practice dates/times
- Most practices will be focused on learning cheers, dances, honing skills with body movements, and getting ready for game-days
- We will cheer home basketball games at Queen City Sport Plex (formally known at Sports Plus) and select away games that are close in proximity (coach choice) :)
- The schedule is currently TBD and will be communicated ASAP but games typically start in early December
- Coaches use Game Changer as source of truth for schedule and communication
Cost is $85 and includes cheer uniform, pom-poms (which must be returned) and bows (cheerleader will keep). We ask that each cheerleader wear white gym shoes of her choice to each game and purchase ROYAL blue bloomers to wear under skirts. REGISTRATION is open now through 10/4.
